What the ranking measures
Daily gross revenue = hashrate × algorithm hashprice. Daily electricity = watts ÷ 1,000 × 24 × USD/kWh. The ranking’s margin is revenue minus electricity, at 100% uptime. It is not net business profit or an investment return.
Source-specific calculations
BTC, LTC and DOGE use difficulty-based expected subsidy revenue: hashrate × 86,400 ÷ (difficulty × 2³²) × miner subsidy × coin price. Litecoin and Dogecoin are added for merged mining. Bitcoin transaction fees are excluded, so this may differ from pools paying those fees.
Kaspa, Zcash, Ethereum Classic and Nervos use pool-reported network hashrate, block interval and a coin price. Zcash uses the 80% miner share of the subsidy; ETC uses its block-height reward era. Each source’s assumptions appear in the table. Pool luck, fees and payout schemes can make actual payouts differ.
Freshness and missing data
Refresh is scheduled every six hours. Each algorithm succeeds or fails independently. Snapshots older than 18 hours are excluded at build and hidden by the browser when they expire. Missing inputs never fall back to invented revenues. X11, RandomX and Blake3 revenues remain unavailable until verified adapters are implemented.
Hardware prices and specifications
Catalog specifications are reference configurations, inherited from the existing catalog. They are not all independently verified. A model detail page states when manufacturer specifications have been checked. Confirm the exact batch, power mode, cooling and warranty. No unverified street prices or stock claims are published. Advanced calculator
Revenue after pool fees = gross revenue × (1 + scenario adjustment) × uptime × (1 − pool fee). Energy cost = watts ÷ 1,000 × 24 × electricity rate × (1 + cooling overhead) × uptime. Management is the monthly amount divided by 30, including downtime. Simple payback divides the entered equipment and installation cost by positive daily operating margin. This assumes unchanged conditions, and is not a forecast.
Rankings and commercial relationships
The default ranking is ordered by calculated operating margin. Buying a placement does not change that calculation. Any future paid placement must be labeled separately. ASIC Miner Prices is operated by Captain Mining Inc.; inquiries may result in an offer from that business. No number of suppliers, response time or lowest-price guarantee is implied.
